Bid Manager

An exciting opportunity with a highly regarded professional services firm has arisen for a bid manager to join the team.

This is an end to end bid manager position where you will be responsible for the go/no go decision all the way through to taking feedback on the successful or not bid to ensure that the lessons which are learnt are passed through to the business. There will be occasions where you will be involved with directly presenting the bid but on the whole you will be expected to prepare the partners for what to expect and ensure they have the materials and information required to handle any objections which are presented.

In order to be successful you must have a proven track record in bid management within the professional services sector. It goes without saying that you must have strong verbal and written communication skills but you are also expected to operate within a reasonably pressurised environment with tight deadlines and multiple bids on-going at any one point.

It is imperative for the company to hire the right individual but they are flexible to the depth of experience you have as they could look at this role as a Senior Exec position or a Manager position with a salary reflective of the level of experience you bring with you.
